Questions people ask

What is a coverage partner?

A licensed insurance agent who has completed DPC America's coverage training and can explain how each type of coverage works alongside a direct primary care membership: Marketplace HSA-qualified plans, employer and level-funded plans, Medicare with a Supplement, health-sharing programs, fixed-indemnity plans and short-term medical where it is available, including the limits of each.

What is the difference between a featured partner and a listed agent?

Featured DPC-certified coverage partners completed advanced DPC coverage training, offer multiple ways to structure coverage alongside a membership, and hold a limited number of places per county, no more than three. Listed agents completed DPC America's introductory education and appear in the state directory; their experience and available coverage options vary.

Who receives my information?

Only the partner you choose. If you ask to be matched instead, your request goes to one eligible featured partner for your county, not to several agents at once. DPC America does not sell or resell inquiries.

Does it cost anything?

Assistance from the coverage partner is provided at no cost to you. When coverage is enrolled, compensation generally comes from the insurance company or coverage organization.
